Ornamental Flowers

Ornamental flowers vary enormously in their soil, climate and nutritional requirements. Generally, ornamentals will require a pre-plant fertilizer such as Mother Earth® or Paton's Blood & Bone + K and, depending on the life of the crops, may require a soluble feed or side dressing with a product such as Nutrafeed 23 (soluble) or a general fertilizer mix e.g. Multipurpose No. 20. Many ornamentals would benefit from an application of Multicote Controlled Release (products available from a 4 month to a 12 month release).
