Potted Plants

Potted plants and indoor plants need particular attention. The nutritional requirements of a potted plant can be less than soil bound plants, however the loss of nutrients is often greater due to leaching through the pot. A regular, small dosage of fertilizer is far more effective than a large dose all at once. Indoor plants do not require much fertilizer and poor growth is generally unrelated to nutrition but linked others factors such as positioning and watering frequency.

Paton has many products for pot plants such as our Nutrafeed Soluble range and the Multicote Controlled Release products. Soluble products can be used for small regular feeding and the Controlled Release products can be used at planting or for a particular time release.
